Cookie policy

1. What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file made of letters and numbers that a website can ask your browser to store. On a later visit, the browser can send it back. A cookie is not a program and does not read the files on your computer.

Some cookies last only while the window is open. Others remain until a date set by whoever placed them, or until you delete them from your browser. A cookie placed by a domain other than the website you are reading is called a third-party cookie.

2. What we use

This is a presentation website. We have no shop, account, cart or advertising. We do not measure visits and we do not use analytics, advertising, geotargeting or tracking cookies. There are no social media share buttons that load a script from that network.

On your first visit we show you a bar and ask for your consent. We store your choice (accept or decline) for 6 months in our own cookie, on this website's domain. Without it, the bar would appear on every page. The cookie does not contain your name, email or phone number and does not identify you.

3. Google reCAPTCHA

On the Contact and Careers pages, the form uses a Google reCAPTCHA check. It tells a person from an automated program. The Google script loads only on these two pages and only if you click Accept.

If you click Decline, the check does not start and the message cannot be sent from the website. You can write to officemf@moldovafarming.ro.

During the check, Google may receive your IP address and technical data about your browser. It may place a cookie on its own domain to remember that the check was done. Google sets how long that cookie lasts. We do not read that cookie and we do not use it to recognise you on a later visit.

4. Fonts, video and external links

On all pages, the font is loaded from Google Fonts. This may send your IP address to Google. Google Fonts does not usually set a cookie.

Some articles on the Romanian blog contain a YouTube video. Until you click it, the page loads nothing from YouTube. When you click, the video loads from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. When it plays, YouTube (Google) receives your IP address and technical data about your browser and may store data in your browser, under Google's rules. If you do not want this, do not start the video, or open it directly on YouTube.

The link to the group's Facebook page does not load a Facebook script on this website. Facebook cookies appear only if you open that website, under Facebook's rules.

5. How to turn them off

You can change your choice at any time. The button below deletes our own cookie and shows you the bar again.

You can delete existing cookies or block third-party cookies in your browser settings, usually under Privacy or Cookies. If you block Google cookies, the reCAPTCHA check on the forms may stop working. The rest of the pages can still be read.

Deleting cookies from your browser does not delete a message you have already sent. For the data from the forms, see the privacy policy.

6. Changes

We may update this policy when the website changes. The version shown on this page is the one in force. The date at the top of the page shows the latest published version.
