Privacy policy
Valid from 30 October 2026 for the moldovafarming.ro presentation website. This is a translation of the Romanian version, which prevails in case of any difference.
1. Who processes the data
The data controller is Comfert Agricultura SRL, with its registered office at Calea Moinești 34, Bacău, Romania, tax ID (CUI) RO26371304, Trade Register number J2010000002043. The website presents the Moldova Farming group.
For a request about your personal data, you can write to us at dpo@moldovafarming.ro. For a general message to the group, the address is officemf@moldovafarming.ro.
2. What kind of website this is
This is a presentation website. You can read information about the group, its warehouses, careers, blog articles (in Romanian) and public documents.
There is no online shop, user account, cart or ordering. We do not keep a database of visitors and we do not send a newsletter. A request for a quote is made through our office or through the regional representative, not by placing an order on the website.
3. What data we use
If you only browse the website, we do not ask for your name or email address. For server security, the hosting provider may keep technical logs such as your IP address, the date of access and the page requested. These logs are not used to identify you.
If you write to us from the Contact page, we process your name, email address, phone number and message. If you apply through Careers, we process the same data and, only if you attach it, your CV.
We do not ask for sensitive data, such as data about health, ethnic origin or beliefs.
4. Why we use it
We use the message sent from the Contact page to reply to you. If you ask about an offer, the processing relates to steps taken before a contract. In other cases, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying to a person who has written to us, together with the box you tick to agree to this policy.
We use your application only to assess it for the position you are applying for. We do not use your CV for anything else.
We do not sell the data and we do not use it for advertising or for automated decisions.
5. Who else sees the data
The message, together with your CV if you attached one, is sent by email to our address through SendGrid, an email delivery service run by Twilio Inc. We use it only to deliver the message. The form does not store the data on the website's server. We do not publish the data or pass it on, except where the law requires us to.
On all pages, the font is loaded from Google Fonts. When it loads, Google may receive your IP address. On the Contact and Careers forms we use Google reCAPTCHA to tell a person from an automated program, but only if you accept it in the cookie bar. reCAPTCHA may set a cookie and may receive your IP address. Details are in Google's policy.
Some blog articles contain a YouTube video. It loads only if you click it. When it plays, Google receives your IP address and technical data about your browser, under its own rules.
The group's Facebook page is a separate website. If you open it, Facebook's rules apply, not the rules of this website.
Twilio (SendGrid) and Google are based in the United States, so some data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area. The transfer relies on the safeguards provided by Regulation (EU) 2016/679, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
6. Cookies
We do not use analytics or marketing cookies and we do not measure visits with a statistics tool. We store your choice, accept or decline, for 6 months, so that we do not show you the bar on every page. The Google reCAPTCHA cookie appears only on the pages with a form and only if you accept. Details are in the cookie policy.
7. How long we keep it
The message stays in our mailbox for as long as we need to reply to you and follow up on the conversation, and then we delete it. We keep your CV for the duration of the recruitment for the role you applied for.
If we later sign a contract outside the website, the documents for that contract are kept for as long as the law requires, for example for accounting. Deleting a message sent through the website does not delete the documents the law requires us to keep.
8. Your rights
Under Regulation (EU) 2016/679, you can ask:
- to know whether we process data about you and to receive a copy;
- for us to correct inaccurate data or complete it;
- for us to delete the data, where the law allows;
- for us to restrict the processing, or to object to it, in the cases provided by the regulation;
- to receive the data you gave us in a machine-readable format, where the processing is based on consent or on a contract and is carried out by automated means;
- to withdraw your consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it.
We do not make automated decisions based on your data and you are not subject to profiling.
Send your request to dpo@moldovafarming.ro. So that we do not give your data to someone else, we may ask you to confirm your identity.
If you believe your rights have been infringed, you can lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), B-dul G-ral. Gheorghe Magheru 28-30, sector 1, Bucharest, or at dataprotection.ro.
9. Changes
We may update this policy when the website changes. The version shown on this page is the one in force. The date at the top of the page shows the latest published version.
